One of my favorite things about this community is that we don't have to explain ourselves.
We just get it.
But I also know that sometimes it feels good to be SEEN in the specifics.
So here's your invitation: Tell me about your brain.
How does it work?
What does it need?
What makes it feel safe?
Here's mine:
My brain needs:
→ Clear containers (start and end times for tasks)
→ Body doubling (even virtually)
→ Permission to rest without productivity attached
→ Low-stimulation environments when I'm overwhelmed
→ Visual anchors (if I can't see it, it doesn't exist)
My brain struggles with:
→ Transitions (switching tasks feels impossible)
→ Decision fatigue (too many choices = shutdown)
→ Time blindness (I genuinely have no idea how long things take)
→ Initiation (starting is harder than doing)
Your turn. 👇
What does your brain need?
What does it struggle with?
Let's normalize talking about this without shame.
