I got this wrong at first...when i first started my business. In the beginning, it was all passion, obsession and drive. But as I ramped up, added more clients, started hiring a team. What I needed was 3 things. - discipline - focus - consistency I know it sounds obvious, but it's pretty amazing how easy it is to misunderstand what these 3 are, and how subtly powerful they are. Reminds me of a thing I've learned. We discover what works, and instead of simply doing more of what we've already figured out works, we stray into trying something new. Don't get me wrong. Trying new things is also required. But not when it's at the price of forgetting to do more of what we've already figured out that works. For me, it's always, always taken a surrendering to discipline, focus and consistency. That's the magic that brings the most prosperity.
