Great day! Here’s a thought for your Monday morning commute.

No day has been given the authority to tell you what to do.

Let me give you three reasons why.

First, Jesus said in Matthew 28, “All power and authority has been given to Me.” Then He commissioned us and sent us out in that same authority. That means the authority of heaven backs the believer.

Second, from the very beginning, when God created humanity, He said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness, and let them have dominion.” You were created to operate in dominion, not to be ruled by circumstances.

Third, as a Kingdom citizen, your identity has changed. The Apostle Paul said, “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. Old things have passed away.” Then he reminds us that we are ambassadors. An ambassador carries the authority of the kingdom they represent.

That means you walk in the authority of the King.

So remember this today:

The day doesn’t rule you.

Circumstances don’t rule you.

Pressure doesn’t rule you.

You are a Kingdom citizen.You carry heaven’s authority.

It’s time to rule.
