Some time ago, lets say 15 years ago . . . I stumbled across a crumbly old book in a second hand bookshop that changed my life!! Little did I know back then, that this book would literally save my life. I went from a high-pressured corporate job with no spare time to live, to a father, business owner and financially free, to being the best shape of my life. FYI I'm 51 years old! That book, was Discourses by Epictetus. I never bought the book, but instead went out and bought a newer version. Since then I've collected quite a few. But just how did a 2,000 year old book change the trajectory of my entire life? Well thats a longer story. For now, lets just say it gave me a new purpose to go out there and change my whole life. You see, Stoicism wasn't just written for ancient times for men wearing togas. Its distilled philosophy will live on for another 4,000 years or maybe as long as humans walk this earth. Its timeless! Back then, if you were taught Stoicism you were most likely wealthy, strong and had great leadership qualities. So its no coincidence that since then, a large amount of the most succesful people from the human race have been practicing Stoics. Good enough for them - then its good enough for you. This community will share with you everything you need to take these ancient pronciples and bring them to life in your own world. In a world that seems disjointed, dull, violent and troubled, this community can be an oasis and guide to 'the good life'. Join us today and be a part of our community. And together, we'll make HUGE strides.

Unleash Your Inner Goggins: Embrace the Relentless Pursuit of Excellence
In a world saturated with mediocrity and excuses, one name stands out as a beacon of unbreakable willpower and relentless self-discipline: David Goggins. Today, we're going to delve into the depths of Goggins' mindset and extract actionable strategies that you can apply to elevate your life to extraordinary levels. The Goggins' Philosophy: Embrace Discomfort, Conquer Yourself Goggins didn't just preach mental toughness; he lived it, breathed it, and weaponized it. His philosophy revolves around a simple yet profound principle: embrace discomfort, conquer yourself. This isn't about masochism; it's about understanding that growth and resilience are forged in the fires of adversity. Transforming the Mundane into a Crucible Goggins didn't reserve his mental fortitude for extraordinary feats; he infused it into the mundane. The alarm clock became a battle cry, a call to arms against complacency. He transformed chores into training grounds, each repetition a testament to his discipline. What if you adopted this mindset? Your morning commute becomes a meditation on resilience. That pile of laundry? A test of your commitment to excellence. Embrace discomfort, and watch your life transform. The 40% Rule: Shattering Your Perceived Limits Goggins firmly believes that most people operate at a mere 40% of their potential. This isn't just a number; it's a challenge, a rallying cry to transcend perceived limitations. In your life, the 40% rule means refusing to settle. It means pushing beyond your comfort zone in your career, relationships, and personal growth. It means constantly asking yourself, "Am I truly giving my all?" If the answer isn't a resounding "Yes!", then you have work to do. The Accountability Mirror: Your Unflinching Truth-Teller Goggins famously uses an "accountability mirror," a visual reminder of his goals, fears, and aspirations. It's a tool that forces him to confront his truths, both the empowering and the uncomfortable. Imagine having your own accountability mirror. What would it say? What dreams would it ignite? What fears would it expose? This isn't about self-flagellation; it's about radical honesty and unwavering commitment to growth.
