He wants to be with you in every single moment of your life. Just curious, have you thought about your church and scripture, and wondered what is the first song you could write, that your church needs to hear from scripture in the new year? Maybe it's a song that all our churches need to hear. Maybe we could each search the scriptures and collaborate.

Thought I'd share a short refrain from a songwriter's retreat. We were given the words of the first part of the Nicene Creed, and wrote music for it. It's always a great experience to meet up with other songwriters.

Seek Him first, seek Him last, seek Him most. Seek Him today, seek Him tomorrow. Seek Him in the stillness of dawn, when the world sleeps and your soul awakens—seek Him then. Seek Him in every choice, in every thought—take them captive, asking what Jesus would say, what He would do. Learn His heart, walk His way.
