This homework was not fun to do, but I understand that what feels uncomfortable is where there's growth. So here it goes. What I wanted to show was "calm sovereign power under tension" A woman in her mid 40’s she at a high executive boards directors meeting in a Wall Street company. Her style is impeccable, she’s wearing a pencil skirt with a blouse paired with high heels. She’s presenting a new directive for the company’s future. She knows her proposal is bold but has the potential to save the company from bankruptcy. She knows most the the board will be opposed mainly because they are all mend can’t conceive that a woman can save the company. While she’s presenting her proposal, everyone stars to talk in a strong aggressive way but instead reacting to the aggressions she remains calm without getting triggered: sovereign power. Camera: still camera, eye-level Lighting: grounded light? Mood: calm power, relaxed under tension Style: cinematic realism Explaining: Still camera eye level is witnessing Mid shot witness Grounded lighting creating trust

Late Homework
I forgot the homework was due yesterday I am very sorry professor 🫡 CHARACTER: 24 year old black man, a fighter dressed in baggy jeans and a gray beat up hoodie with the hood on his head SHOT TYPE: closeup shot of the face CAMERA ANGLE: low angle shot looking up at the characters face CAMERA MOVEMENT: slight slow zoom in LIGHTNING: only a strong back light lighting the back of the subject creating an outline, very soft fill light on his face so we can se the emotion on his face MOOD: nervous and exhausted but with a bit of underdog energy ENVIROMENT: Empty street in the middle of the night, the character is standing in the middle of the street looking to the ground thinking something, behind him there are street lights covered with fog so they are barely visible, light rain is falling on him so his hoodie is slightly wet. CINEMATIC STYLE: dark and moody, ultra realistic, deep shadow only the important details are visible. Blueish tone. I chose a closeup because it can show the most emotion because we are close to the character, the camera is gonna slowly zoom in increasing the tension. The light is mainly coming from the back so there is a mystery to the guy, but there is still enough light on his face so we can see his emotions. The environment ties everything together with its emptiness it creates a feeling of unease and the fog adds to the tension because we don’t know what is out there and why he might be nervous. Dark cinematic style and bluish color palete look cinematic but still add to the tension in the scene creating a very intense environment.
