Purpose of the Miracles Newsroom
The Miracles Newsroom Thread is a place where we get to share and celebrate our miracles. Reflections from today's reading page 157.
My comments reference 3 lines in today's reading: "Ask, rather, that the Holy Spirit teach you the right perception of the body, for perception alone can be distorted." "All forms of sickness, even unto death, are physical expressions of the fear of awakening." "All forms of sickness are signs that the mind is split, and does not accept a unified purpose." I will be 65 this year, it's a big number as I apply to Medicare. I have always felt very healthy. All of the sudden my fingers and joints in my feet hurt, a rapid onset of arthritis! My mind is absolutely sick with my ego running amuck with this number in my head, 100% creating illness and I know I must stop this stinking thinking and reverse this process. This year I also ended up in the hospital for the first time for a kidney infection, I knew I was full of fear for one of my sons going thru a rough spell, so much fear it made me sick (kidneys are the seat of fear in the body). Again foul thought, until I realized my kidneys actually supported me in releasing this fear and felt grateful and wondered was the Holy Spirit showing me the truth thru my body that my fear was released and lifted from me, was he perhaps using my body to help waken me from my sleep? After class I had to call Nate, how can all forms of sickness be an expression of fear of awakening, Nate is the most awakened individual I have ever met, and he has cerebral palsy. When Nate shares, I am often pinned by the divinity coming thru his words in his profound, humble wisdom. I asked Nate to help me to understand his experience of himself so that I am not in resistance to the course anywhere, as I generally do not struggle to accept the principles taught, but I was wavering. The only way I could make sense of it was to say maybe God created Nate with cerebral palsy to prompt him to more fully inhabit and reside in the mind, the mind of God and be a voice of God to those he encounters, to support the awakening of others, perhaps his high purpose. Nate gave me a beautiful answer, that God created Nate in order for the Creator to know itself through this condition, as we are all various reflections of God.
