The power of friendships in business š„°
Iāve been wrestling with a business challenge for quite a while now.
You know the kindā¦
The one that sits quietly in the background of your mind no matter what else youāre doing.
Iāve felt frustrated. Indecisive. Nervous. Worried.
Iāve had a couple of restless nights.
Iāve even caught myself saying, āIāll deal with it later,ā while metaphorically sweeping it under the rugā¦ only to keep tripping over the lump. š§¹š
If Iām honest, itās cost me more time, energy and money than I ever wanted it to.
Iāve swung between āLetās give this one more shotā and āLetās put it out of its misery and toast its farewell with champagne.ā š„š
Then something wonderful happened.
One of my dear business friends - who also happens to be from one of the very first Mindset Coach Academy cohorts - stepped in. š„°
In less than two hours she found what feels like the perfect solution.
Not because sheās magical (although she comes pretty close!), but because she understood how much this mattered to me. She listened. She challenged my thinking. She helped me see possibilities Iād stopped being able to see.
This morning, after an 8.30am meeting with a third-party provider, weāve already started putting that solution into action.
Twenty-four hours ago it genuinely felt impossible.
Today it feels achievable.
And it reminded me of something really importantā¦
Donāt build your business alone.
FIND your people.
The ones who understand both the excitement and the exhaustion.
The ones who celebrate your wins, sit with you in the uncertainty, ask the hard questions, play devilās advocate when you need it and remind you whatās possible when youāve temporarily forgotten.
Those people are priceless.
One of the things I hope we continue to build here isnāt just knowledge or coaching skillsā¦
Itās genuine friendships.
The kind where someone says, āLetās figure this out together.ā
So whether youāre celebrating a win, wrestling with a challenge, or simply need another perspectiveā¦
Youāre in good company here.
For the highs.
For the lows.
For the yeses.
For the nos.
This is a place to think, share, support one another and grow.
Iām also going to be adding some Coffee & Connection sessions to our calendar soon, because I have a feeling some incredible conversations and lifelong business friendships are waiting to happen. āā¤ļø
