Cortisol is supposed to spike and fall. Wake you up. Handle a stressor. Then settle.
The problem is when it never settles. Always-on stress keeps cortisol elevated, and elevated cortisol tells your body to hold fat and crave fast energy.
You can't out-train it. You can't out-diet it.
You lower it. That's the work most people skip.
