I heard somebody say this once and it stuck with me:
If you’re too nice, people will use you.
If you’re too honest, they avoid you.
If you’re too humble, they overlook you.
If you’re too strong, they try to break you down.
If you’re too available, they forget your value.
If you’re too forgiving, they hurt you again and again.
And honestly… the best thing I ever did for myself was stop telling everybody everything.
Because the truth is: most people don’t care, they’re just curious.
They don’t ask to support, they ask to compare, to judge, or to gossip.
And the more you give them access to your inner world, the more they start believing they’re entitled to it.
This new chapter is private, intentional, protected.
I move differently now.
Not out of fear… but out of wisdom.✨
