It’s Tuesday, December 23rd, 2025.
Every December most of us do the same thing.
We set New Year’s resolutions like:
  • Lose 20 pounds
  • Save more money
  • Read the Bible cover to cover
  • Get fit
  • Stress less
Those are outcomes.
They’re not plans — they’re wishes in nicer clothes.
Goals tell you where you want to go.
Habits tell you how you actually get there.
🛠 My 5 Non-Negotiable Habits (Ideally)
These are the daily five I normally anchor my life to:
1️⃣ Study a chapter of Scripture
2️⃣ Walk/Pray
3️⃣ Read
4️⃣ Write
5️⃣ Lift Weights
Four of them happen pretty naturally for me.
But number five?
Let’s just say 2025 and lifting weights were more like… casual acquaintances than close friends. 🏋️‍♂️😬
I told myself I didn’t have time. 🤦‍♂️
Which is hilarious, because lifting takes less time than a walk.
Truth is: I don’t like it as much — and that’s exactly why it matters.
📅 The Only Fitness Rule I’m Carrying into 2026
Not a body goal.
Not a scale number.
Not a mirror selfie.
Just this habit:
Lift. Three times a week. Minimum.
No heroics.
No perfection.
Just showing up.
Being consistent is all.

Bottomline: Outcomes are lagging indicators.
Habits are the engine.

“What do I want?”
Ask instead:
“What small, boring, repeatable actions — if done consistently — would make 2026 unstoppable?”
