Only military brats understand the weird rhythm of goodbyes.We never just said “see you later.” It was:
- Exchange addresses (that we’d lose by the next PCS)
- Promise to write (we didn’t)
- Cry at the gate (every time)
- Then… three months later, we’re the new kid again starting the cycle over. 😂
