Passed DP-600
Just cleared DP-600 and wanted to share a quick exam pattern for anyone preparing.
Exam structure:
- Case study: 1 case study with 4 questions
- Standalone questions: 48
- Majority were scenario-based, not definition-heavy
Tech focus I noticed:
- A good number of T-SQL questions
- 2–3 questions each from DAX and KQL
- Strong emphasis on Fabric concepts, especially why you’d choose one approach over another
My takeaways:
- Don’t just memorize features—understand when and why to use them
- Hands-on familiarity with Fabric really helps, even if limited
- Reading scenarios carefully is critical; many questions test judgment, not syntax
