Local Restaurant Choice

Last night my wife, daughter and I had the opportunity to try a new (new to us) place in Marine City. I've driven by a number of times, heard from a number of friends that this place is great. So now that the move is done we finally had the chance to check it out.

It's called Gars and is located on Water Street in Marine City.

I had the bacon cheeseburger which was cooked to perfection, weighing in and 1/2 pound of beef and an enormous amount of flavor. We also got an order of french fries to split, and mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks came with 9 which I thought was really good to share, and the basket of fries was enough for the three of us and we had left overs.

If you get a chance to check it out, you won't regret.
