Mental Lagging is a welcoming, supportive space built for the gaming community. Gaming has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, it’s how I unwind, reset, and cope with the day. Living with anxiety and depression, and being diagnosed with Treatment-Resistant Generalized Anxiety Disorder (TR-GAD), gaming has always been my safe place.
As gaming has grown into a massive, diverse community, I’ve seen both the best and the worst of it. While gaming can be incredibly inclusive, the negative side often gets the most attention, making some people hesitant to join in.
Mental Lagging exists for anyone who wants to connect and play with others but may not feel comfortable taking that first step. If you’ve ever felt anxious, unsure, or out of place, you’re not alone.
This community is about positivity, understanding, and building real connections through a shared love of gaming. You don’t need to be perfect or competitive, just be yourself. You belong here, and we’re glad you found us.
