Welcome! I’m Laura and I’m a licensed professional counselor and have been working in the mental health field for 15 years. I have owned my own private counseling business the last 8 years called Sage Counseling in north Dallas, TX. I am a certified clinical trauma professional. I am trained in ERP, TF-CBT, EMDR, CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, Trauma informed Crisis Prevention to name a few. I specialize in working with individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma, addictuion and OCD. However, I am trained in so many other disorders, diagnoses, struggles so just feel free to reach out and I’ll let you know if we will be covering what you’d like to see. We will be discussing coping skills and treatment through videos I’ve made along with tons of resources and handouts that are my favorite from over the years. A little about this group: You've found a safe space for support and understanding on your mental health journey. This group is a place to share experiences, ask questions, and connect with others who get it, because you are not alone. We are a community focused on healing, growth, and mutual respect, and we are so glad you are here. What to expect: - A supportive community: This is a place to be heard and understood. You don't have to be perfect, and it's okay to not be okay. - Confidentiality: We prioritize a safe and respectful space, and conversations are confidential. What is shared here stays here. - Shared experiences: Connecting with peers who understand your struggles can be powerful. You are not alone, and you have the strength to get through this. - Growth and hope: While today might be challenging, things can and will get better.
