Removing fake/bot followers on IG
Long story short I am trying to fix my IG and get my engagement up. I had a "social media" company in the past rip me off and sent a huge amount of bot followers to my IG, like it looks good on the surface having over 20k followers I have had some lower status women ask if I was famous but I think women who understand IG can see my reels get 1-2k views which is dogshit compared to 20k followers.
Questions:
Should I just try and remove these bots by scrolling through and hitting unfollow (I hear 100 per day is safe to remove)?
Does real engagement matter a lot for building a solid IG I mix between high value photos, and business reels, then remove the business reels from my main grid after 1-2 weeks.
