CAMPUS EVENT IDEAS 💡
As a college student navigating MOA, I’d love your thoughts on using these ideas for top-of-funnel events (or if they’re even necessary). These are a few concepts I’ve come up with. I’d really appreciate it if you could poke holes in them or offer suggestions where you see fit.
1. Themed Parties 🎉
Themed parties are common in college and can serve as a great cold-approach icebreaker. My idea is to host one in my building and collaborate with a few well-connected guys to help promote and co-host bi-monthly.
2. Charity Event with a Student Organization🎗️
As Mike says, charity events are powerful as they tap into guilt and are hard to beat. I’m considering partnering with a charitable student organization to co-host an event. The challenge is that I’d essentially be a solo operator trying to organize this, rather than having an established team behind me. I’m unsure how feasible that is
3. Photoshoot Model Call 📸
I’m thinking of reaching out to photographers I know on campus and handling the logistics and recruiting myself. The idea would be to frame it as an opportunity for aspiring models to get professional photos for their portfolios. It could position me as a connector while providing real value. Only thing with that is I’m not sure if that’s viable enough explanation for hosting.
Would love to hear y’all’s thoughts on viability, potential pitfalls, and how you’d improve or what’s worth executing.
