🚀🌍 ✅ THE LIQUID WEIGHT POST 🥤 Title: 🥤 Your Restaurant Is Selling More Liquid Than Food. So Why Is Your Waste System Built For Solid Waste? Here's a math problem that will change how you see your restaurant forever. 🤯 The Average Fast Food Meal: 🍔 Quarter Pounder = 0.25 lbs of food 🥤 Medium Drink = 16 oz = 1 lb of liquid 🥤 Second Drink = 16 oz = 1 lb of liquid Total food weight: 0.25 lbs Total liquid weight: 2 lbs "We consume more liquids. So our waste cans should facilitate more liquids." — Edward David Jones, Founder — The AfterMeal & MEGA U You are selling 8x MORE liquid than food. Yet your waste system is built around plastic bags. And here's the problem with plastic bags: ❌ They are not designed to hold liquid ❌ They leak, burst & contaminate everything around them ❌ They turn recyclable cups, straws & packaging into unrecyclable garbage ❌ They fill up faster — costing you more in waste management ❌ They end up in landfills where liquid creates methane gas ❌ They end up in oceans where plastic kills marine life "We're trying to create a toilet bowl with plastic bags — and it just doesn't work." — Edward David Jones Think About What Leaves Your Restaurant Every Single Day At the exit door of a typical fast food establishment: 🗑 6 bags of garbage collected at the exit door ⏰ 8+ times per day those bags are collected 📦 30-40+ bags per day of total waste generated 💧 Most of that weight? LIQUID. Every one of those bags contains: Cups filled with leftover ice & drink Lids soaked in liquid Straws dripping with soda Food wrappers wet from condensation All of it cross-contaminating what COULD have been recycled Here's What Edward David Jones Discovered When you eliminate the liquid from the equation — everything changes: 🥤 Stack the cups up — instead of throwing them in a bag full of liquid 📏 One stack of cups = what used to fill 2-3 garbage bags 🥤 Stack the straws into a designated chute ♻️ Now cups & straws are RECYCLABLE — not garbage 💰 Waste management costs drop by 50-60%
