Work Life balance
Now that I am nearing 70, looking back I would have liked to spend more time living and less time working. Today’s world is different than it was for me. Technology has opened many opportunities to create an existence that allows more time for living. It doesn’t have to be about money. Success looks different for everyone, the “Juice for the Squeeze.” What do I need in my life? Is it security, comfort?
Now I am retired and living my best life. I like to live each day with purpose. I decided I am going to live to be 100 years old. I bought a day counter that lets me know how many days are left, roughly 8700. I worked hard so I could retire, but at what compromise?
