My town has been talking about turning this old elementary school into a community center for years. They have made a really nice park out front but apparently the building has major issues and they’re not sure whether they will be able to use it for the community center. It’s just been sitting empty for years.

Some people figure it out staying close to home, others need to get a little lost first. For me, it happened through traveling. Being in new places, around people who lived completely different lives, made me see things more clearly.. especially who I am and what matters to me. It wasn’t always easy or perfect, but somewhere along the way, between all the unfamiliar moments, I started to feel like myself in a way I never had before.
