Finally found something that fixed my thumbnail bottleneck
Been meaning to post about this for a while. If you're like me, editing the video was never the slow part — staring at a blank thumbnail template after was.
I tried a bunch of the usual routes: doing it myself in Canva (way too long), paying a freelancer per thumbnail (adds up fast if you post often), and one of those subscription AI apps (kept paying monthly even on weeks I barely used it).
What actually stuck for me was Thumbium Review-worthy enough that I wanted to share it here — it's an AI thumbnail tool where you just describe what you want and it generates a finished thumbnail sized for YouTube or Shorts in a couple minutes.
The part that got me to actually try it was that it's a one-time payment instead of another monthly subscription, and you can upload your own face or product photo and it blends it into the generated scene, which most tools I tried couldn't really do well.
Not saying it's perfect — there's a monthly generation cap depending on your plan, and you do need to connect your own OpenAI key (quick, but it's an extra step). But for anyone in here who's tired of the thumbnail grind eating either your time or your budget every week, it's worth a look.
Curious if anyone else here has tried it — how'd the results hold up for your niche?
