Caravan Life Update 🚐❀️
A little update for everyone! We moved into the caravan around the middle of March, and somehow it’s already July. Time has flown by, and we’re genuinely loving this chapter of our lives. We’re still keeping things simple. We’ve added a fridge and a dryer, and that’s pretty much it. We don’t have all the luxuries, but we’ve got everything we need. One of the best parts has been watching Lacey’s little salad garden thrive. She’s absolutely loving picking fresh strawberries, and tomorrow she’ll be collecting eggs from our chickens too. πŸ₯¬πŸ“πŸ“ Those little moments make this journey so rewarding. Is it always easy? Definitely not. There are sacrifices, challenges, and days where you miss having more space. But every sacrifice has a purpose. We’re doing this because we’re working towards something bigger our first home. A place that’s ours, with a little more security and a foundation for our future. Every week in the caravan is another step closer to making that dream a reality. Thank you to everyone who’s followed along, supported us, and cheered us on. We can’t wait to keep sharing the journey with you all. Let’s keep growing, one step at a time. ❀️🏑🚐
Your dream life isn’t going to knock on your door
Good morning, legends! β˜• β€œYour dream life isn’t going to knock on your door and politely ask to come in. You have to go build the door, open it, and drag it inside.” It’s been 5 years for me now consistently growing, learning, saving, and compounding. I’ve made a conscious decision not to rush into buying a house we can’t comfortably afford. I’ve seen too many people trapped, working just to pay the mortgage with no freedom left. I don’t want that. I want real freedom. I want to be able to do the things I want with my family travel, experiences, time together without being chained to a mortgage we struggle with. So right now we’re in the caravan, living simple, banking up, and making sure when we do buy, it’s the right house and the right decision. This waiting isn’t easy, but it’s intentional. Every extra dollar saved, every lesson learned, every day we stay disciplined it’s all building toward the freedom we actually want. That’s the key. Don’t just chase the house. Chase the freedom. What’s one smart decision you’re making right now (even if it feels slow) to build the future you really want? Let’s keep building the right way patient, intentional, and free. πŸ’ͺ🏑
I didn’t realise how little you actually need.
Good morning, legends! β˜• 2 months into caravan life and I have to be honest with you… I didn’t realise how little you actually need. We’ve stripped everything back. Most of our stuff is in storage. We’re living minimal simple, tight, no extras. And you know what? Lacey is happier than ever. She’s out learning about chickens, helping in the garden, smiling bigger, exploring more. The joy on her face from the simplest things is something else. This season has shown me: Less stuff = more life. Less clutter = more presence. Less β€œthings” = more meaning. It’s not always comfortable, but it feels real. More meaningful than being stuck in a rental, paying off someone else’s asset while waiting for our turn. The house will come. But right now, this caravan chapter is teaching us so much patience, gratitude, what actually matters, and how to grow as a family. This is the growth chapter. We’re learning. We’re simplifying. We’re becoming stronger. Grateful for every messy, beautiful, simple day of it. If you’re in your own season of β€œless right now for more later” whether it’s money, space, time, or comfort just know you’re not alone. Drop a ❀️ if you’re in a similar chapter, or share one thing you’ve realised you don’t actually need. We’re building something better together 🏑🏠

Growth Chapter πŸ’ͺ Growing Salad Garden πŸͺ
Good morning, legends! β˜• Caravan life is treating us well ❀️ Just spent some time clearing out a couple of big old potting basins so we can grow our own salads and greens for the family. It’s a small thing, but it feels good cutting costs, eating fresher, and giving Lacey something fun and hands-on to do with us. Moments like this remind me exactly why we’re doing all of this. Stripping back, simplifying, and turning the β€œless” into something meaningful. Growth chapter unlocked. Grateful for the opportunity to build differently and create memories in the process. If you’re in your own version of simplifying or growing something small right now (garden, habits, skills, savings whatever it is), I’d love to hear about it. You might even teach me a few things along the way :) Keep going, keep growing. πŸ’ͺ🌱 Still got a bit more cleaning up to do but already looking much better πŸ‘Œ #CaravanChapter #SimpleLiving #FamilyGrowth #LevelUpTogether
