...which also resonated perfectly with the current Book I Am Reading Right Now:
"The Art Of Possibility" by Rosamund Stone Zander and Benjamin Zander.
Today I was reading about what the author talked about.... to Give Yourself An A for Effort... Even before you Start... and it was fascinating to "hear" how the author watched how his students, as the author was a music teacher, reacted to receiving an "A" even BEFORE the semester had started...
I wrote the following down in my own NOTES-BOOK... as I take down notes for every book I read/listen to... so I wrote the following down:
"-…. and You GIVE YOURSELF an "A" for your Efforts…for your Attitude… for Being Who You are and who you Have Been and Who You will become. GIVE YOURSELF AN A!"
...then I wrote: Start TREATING yourself like YOU are the ONE that will make a Big Difference in someone else's life today, tomorrow and for the years to come.
This gave me hope that I CAN be that person... that I AM that person...so that is what I am Striving for today! ....it gives me HOPE.... ! ;=)
THEN the author started sharing another experience that he had from his childhood... and I have the following Notes in my Notes-Book:
"BE THE CONTRIBUTION"…. and Be who you are.. How can You Be a Contribution today?
You Need to understand How YOU are a Gift to others.
Throw yourself into life as you have something very important to Gift the other person(s).
Write down what you have done in terms of Contributions you have made in the last week….to you, to your fellow man and towards your goal.
…and imagine how those contributions have ripple effects all around you and of the ones you affect."
I LOVE THAT INSIGHT.... and this is the kind of things I feed myself with as much as I can and as OFTEN as I can.
So, My Questions to YOU, my dear friend, are:
- What will YOU give yourself an "A" for Right Now, ahead of "time" Today?
*Write it down in the comment section.
2. And What CONTRIBUTION will you bring forth today... what Special Gift do you have to Give to Others that will help them on their way?
*Write it down in the comment section.
Ps. Hope this inspired some, if not all of you ;-)
Sincerely, Alf
