A Secret To Success Many People Don't Know About (video as well)
Are you showing up ON TIME when you have an appointment, a meeting, somewhere you're going to be, or for a meeting, a seminar, or that being online or in person? Are you showing up ON TIME? And more importantly, what do you define as being on time? I have a kind of a funny story for you, and there's a video to support it. A good friend of mine in my other mastermind group, his name is Mark.... him and I just always end up chatting before the others log in because we're there AHEAD of time. Let me say that one more time: We're there ahead of time. So I asked him, .... I said, Mark, you always seem to be early. He said, "Hey Alf, you know, my father taught me this." He said: "Being on time is late. Being....Ahead of time or being early is being ON TIME. Let me say that one more time: Being on time is late. Being EARLY is being on time. And I cannot tell you how many times that has put me in a positive situation because I got to meet people I otherwise would meet because it got too crowded later on with too many people in the room. I got to hang out with some of the founders and get to know them, and the story goes on and on and on. And another thing that I am very particular about: for people showing up late, I immediately start forming an opinion about them. And it's usually not a POSITIVE opinion unless they prove me wrong. I understand things could happen sometimes and you are running late, but it's very easy to spot who's just used to never being early. Anyway, let me know your comments. How are you and how are you dealing with it? And how are you going to change if you're being the on-time person, who is Actually LATE?
