Quick back story, I’m a career sales professional with about 15 years of B2B experience. Two years ago, I started using GoHighLevel, and it completely changed my life. It gave me the ability to walk away from my corporate job and build my own business. Honestly, I don’t think I could ever work for someone else again.
I’m now at a point where I want to scale, specifically by building a sales team focused on selling AI voice and chat bots, with my other services positioned as add-on revenue boosters. I truly believe this is a need, not a want, for modern businesses.
At the moment, I have three companies using my AI bots. One of them has 30 locations, which meant building out 30 separate voice and chat bots across individual sub-accounts. It’s been a really exciting project and surprisingly profitable, even though it was my very first AI voice client. (How I landed them is a great story for another post.)
What I’m really looking for guidance on now is this:
- How do you build a sales team that truly understands and believes in the vision of the sales process?
- How do you sell this (to potential new hires) when you don’t yet have a massive library of case studies or long-term proof?
- And realistically, how would you structure compensation for sales reps in this space?
Would love to hear insights from anyone who’s built or scaled a sales team around emerging tech or services.
