600 cold calls a day
Hey everyone I have not been as active as I have been testing a lot of different strategies for outreach. This will be a long post just a FYI. Sorry if there is wrong grammar I am doing this on my phone and just telling you the process.
Just so you know I am just saying what worked for me. I am not an expert at out reach I was just trying a lot of methods to see what I was comfortable with.
I messaged Jeff about 2 weeks ago and told him about this crazy plan of mine to get clients. Me and my cousin reached out to:
-600 cold calls a day (300 a piece using a power dialer)
-300 cold text a day (150 a piece)
-10 looms a day
-600 cold emails a day
To be honest this was brutal and mentally exhausting but I learned so much from this in two weeks then any video on YouTube can teach me about outreach and cold calling hands down.
First off I tried to focus more on volume. I was not trying to perfect my website ( I still do not have one), or wait on A2p, or build out my funnels. I knew the only way to grow is to talk to people. I moved to Ecuador from Philadelphia 8 months ago so I knew I could not network in person , or go door to door , or go to networking events.
Here are my results from me and my cousin are now at 8 clients and we missed some days because we did get lazy over the holiday break thanksgiving just to be honest. The best outreach method for us was cold calling hands down. This is where 95 percent of our clients came from and the show up rate was higher from cold calls.
Texting went horrible for us even though we had a good opener. The opener was "hey I seen that negative review (name) left (x) months ago. I went and reported this to google( I hope they take it off). People are wild out here. Then when they responded we would converse some and the pitch. This helped get the conversion going but it was so much follow up it was not worth the time for us personally.
As far as the looms and the e-mails we got responses but then again it was to much follow up and it was a slow waiting game for us for people to respond back. Now im not knocking looms they are great and I have seen what a lot of people have done in this group with them but for me personally it was not fast enough for me .
With cold calling I was able to connect with the business owner right away. I also scraped for mobile numbers only so my chances were higher to get the owner. Now im not saying cold calling is easy. It is brutal. In the beginning you start taking rejection personally, it can take you many no's to hear your first yes, and it can be a little awkward at times. With that beings said though it has made me stronger mentally, It makes the sales call much easier, and now I am more comfortable speaking to anyone. The more you do the easier It gets.
Now I know what I am good at and out reach takes a lot out of me with also providing the service to the clients we signed up. I dont like it lol. I like providing the service more than outreach. I am in the process of hiring 3 cold callers here from ecuador that speak perfect English. I have one hired already he starts tomorrow and I have more interviews im doing today. They will be using a power dialer reaching out to about 1000 potential clients a day each. This works for me to scale this thing into a legit business and not treating this like a side hustle. I rented a office out here for about $150 a month starting in January. Also I'm providing jobs out here for people because they are not as privileged. They will have a base pay and then every appointment they book on the calendar will be a bonus and if I land the client another bonus will be given. This way I can wake up to booked appointments focus just on the sales and fulfillment to the clients.
I am taking a break and me and my family are traveling to visit family for the holidays in the next couple of days. When I get back home it's time to really push this thing.
I know this was long but just wanted to give my experience. Thank you to and for this amazing community.
