Hi im currently in my offseason and the preseason is in a couple of weeks and ive been analyzing my shooting like crazy for months. First, i seem to make shots sometimes but my consistency in practice really throws me off. one day, i might be shooting amazing and another day, im throwing up brick after brick. In game, im not very consistent and i seem to be shooting better when not actually caring too much about it going in because im filling in for another team and i dont really know the coach.
Another couple of things ive noticed is my hands. when i release, i seem to actually be using my middle and ring finger more than my index, making my follow through flick in rather than pretty much everyone's going out. my ring finger seems to be longer than my index and im wondering if thats got anything to do with it.
Im a girl in a league from a smaller state in Australia so maybe advice here is slightly different because most of you seem to be guys but im just here to get better.
