Why #MakeLifeSporty Is Free
WHY IS #MAKELIFESPORTY FREE? Because Possibility Doesn't Come With an Admission Fee. After more than 40 years working in sports, alongside some of the world's most recognized brands, I've learned something that has fundamentally shaped how I see the world. Talent is everywhere. Passion is everywhere. Potential is everywhere. But access to opportunity isn't. I've met extraordinary people who have dedicated their lives to sports. Athletes, coaches, volunteers, entrepreneurs, community leaders, and everyday fans who have spent years developing their knowledge, building relationships, and contributing to the games they love. They have something incredibly valuable. I call it Sports Capital. It's the combination of your knowledge, experience, relationships, reputation, and passion for the game. And I believe it's one of the most overlooked assets people possess. The problem isn't that people lack ambition, intelligence, or motivation. Too often, they lack three essential things: ACCESS + STRUCTURE + STEWARDSHIP. Without access, you may never meet the right people or discover the right opportunities. Without structure, even a great idea can struggle to become something credible, sustainable, and valuable. Without stewardship, you're left trying to figure everything out on your own. I created #MakeLifeSporty to help change that. 1. Because everyone deserves to discover what's possible. You shouldn't have to make a financial commitment just to explore an idea, ask a question, meet like-minded people, or discover the value of what you've already built. Perhaps you've spent 20 years coaching hockey. Maybe you've organized community tournaments, volunteered at championships, built relationships with local businesses, or developed an extraordinary understanding of a sport you love. You may never have considered that your experience and relationships could become the foundation for a business, a partnership, or an income-producing asset. That's where your Underdog to Champion journey begins.
