Ad Conversion

Anyone else struggling (at least at the beginning) with conversion from Ads? I’ve been running Instagram Ads now for about a week and have seen a few thousand views, a 1500 link clicks to the about page on my community and no conversions at all (even with a 7 day free trial & I’ve reduced the price of membership to well below what I think it should be). Appreciate social proof is a thing that comes into play but at this point it feels like throwing money into the void. Anyone overcome this sort of thing?
