We'll hunt for medicinal, edible, useful, or just plain beautiful plants. I live in the Ozarks of northwest Arkansas, so that's the environment I'll be covering. This course will follow the seasons beginning with Spring 2026. Each plant file will be updated with photos or video to show progression throughout the year. Some plants are in process of the identification process, which means I am not certain what it is but the stages of growth will reveal clues.

In this course, you'll learn my process for making paint from rocks. Video tutorials will start with collecting the rocks - how to test them to see if they're worth the trouble, break and crush them, wash the pigment, and then make the paint! Students welcome to join the weekly Coffee 1/2 hour on Zoom, a mingled happy hour of students from all of Wild Ozark courses.

Pre-measured for making 1 cup of watercolor binder. You'll need to provide the water, honey, and clove essential oil (optional). Recipe included.
