Teaching Career with Freelancing
Hey everyone! I’m currently juggling a new job teaching Science and Geography to 7th and 8th graders, specially young adult boys they are still in the process of growing and honestly, it’s exhausting. Teaching older students takes a lot of mental energy, and the 'after-hours' work like lesson planning is eating up my week.
Right now, Sunday is my only dedicated editing day. I’m struggling to keep my momentum going as a freelancer when I’m so drained by Saturday.
Does anyone have advice on building a sustainable routine? How do you keep your editing skills sharp when your day job is this demanding? I’d love to hear how you guys balance teaching (or any high-energy job) with a creative side hustle."
