"My Two Investment Failures and Life Lessons"
Assalam-o-Alaikum Bhaiyo, hamari community mein aaj main apni ek painful story share kar raha hoon – a story of loss, mistakes, and the lessons that shaped me. Yeh kahani hai mere do baray investments ki, jo totally wrong decisions ki wajah se disaster ban gaye. Let's start from the beginning.
Back in July 2022, mere paas kuch savings thi – around 6-7 lakhs rupees, jo maine wedding photography aur videography kar ke jama ki thi. Mere circle mein ek dost call center run kar raha tha, aur uska revenue acha generate ho raha tha. Main sochne laga, why not invest these savings somewhere? Phir mera ek jaanne waala dost mila, jo software engineer tha. Usne kaha, "Bhai, main sath karta hoon." Humne partnership decide ki: 70% mera share, 30% uska, but investment poori meri. Wo developer tha, toh humne mera ghar ka ek room office bana diya – tables, chairs, internet waghera lagaya, aur taqreeban 3 lakhs kharch ho gaye setup par.
Phir humne team hire ki: developers, UI/UX designers, aur project manager wo khud tha. Total 5-6 employees fixed salary par. Humne 3-4 months chalaya, but from day one, main us se kehta raha, "Sales team hire karo, sales persons chahiye warna business nahi chalega." Wo mujhe taal deta, "Koshish kar raha hoon, lagaya hua hoon." Lekin kuch nahi hua. Result? Mere 7 lakhs poore khatam, aur main 5 lakhs ke loan mein phans gaya. Finally, software house band kar diya, camera bech kar loan chukaya, aur socha ab sukoon milega. But dimagh mein tension thi – where's the peace?
Phir June 2023 mein, Facebook par ek banda mila jo call center ke liye partner dhoond raha tha. Usne bataya uske paas 12 agents hain, Shahrah-e-Faisal par office chal raha hai. Humne deal ki: 5 lakhs investment meri taraf se. Main itna naive tha, socha nahi ki agar uska business chal raha hota toh partner kyun banata? Anyway, July mein 5 lakhs de diye – 1 lakh apna, 4 lakhs loan le kar. 3-4 months chala, usne mujh se aur 2 lakhs maange (jo maine arrange kar ke de diye), but ek rupee bhi return nahi mila. Then, February 2024 mein mujhe dengue ho gaya, 10 din office nahi gaya. Jab recover ho kar wapis gaya, toh na wo banda tha, na office, na agents – sab gayab!
Yeh do experiences ne mujhe sikha diya: Jis kaam ka experience na ho, jis field mein expertise na ho, us mein invest mat karo – sirf nuqsaan hoga. Aur kabhi bhi doosron par depend mat raho; khud seekho, khud karo, aur slow slow, step by step barho.
