I just wanted to take a moment to appreciate this amazing community and the people behind it.
Before I joined Media Valley School, I was honestly a broke student struggling to make ends meet. I had the desire to make money online but no clear direction. One day, I was referred to this community and that decision changed everything for me.
I became an active member here and learned the foundations of freelancing, especially how to get started on Upwork. The little I earned back then might not have been much, but it opened my eyes. Instead of wasting it, I reinvested that money into different online businesses. Some worked, most didn’t—but I kept learning.
Eventually, I found my lane in e-commerce Shopify. With the right strategy, guidance, and consistent effort, I made my first sales within a few weeks. I doubled down, stayed focused, and kept improving.
Today, I’m grateful to say I’ve crossed $20K+ in my e-commerce business, and I’m still pushing for more
I’m no longer deeply into freelancing I’m now fully focused on e-com but freelancing was the stepping stone that got me here.
I’ve been in this community before, had to step away for personal reasons, and I’ve just joined back mainly to say thank you.
Big appreciation to the owner and the admins for building a space that actually helps people grow, with no gatekeeping.
