How I Got My First Client
Honestly, I still can’t believe how fast this happened.
Let me share the full story
I’ve been posting videos on Instagram about personal branding, web design, and freelancing just trying to show what I know and help others.
Alongside that, I was doing outreach sending messages to potential clients.
Most replies were either
“Not interested.”
or
“Maybe in the future.”
But then, one reply changed everything.
This person run a digital marketing agency, and I pitched my web design services to him.
We had a short chat he checked out my videos and said,
Your content is Awesome. Let's meeting
That led to a 30 minute meeting where we discussed his website.
During the call, he mentioned he also had a startup idea he wanted to launch.
I got curious, asked more about it, and we started brainstorming together.
When he shared the concept,
I said,
“This actually has huge potential.”
After the meeting, I created a full presentation on how we could turn that idea into a real web app using https://gamma.app an amazing tool for creating visual presentations.
He loved it literally replied, “Awesome presentation!”
Next day, we had another 45 minute meeting and talked deeply about the startup plan.
By the end, he said something that shocked me
Azhan, let’s start this today.
And just like that, the same person I pitched a website to offered me a major project to build his startup from scratch.
We finalized everything, signed the agreement,
Sometimes, one genuine connection can change everything.
Grateful for this start and truly excited for what’s next
