From “Just Doing It” to Taking It Seriously ✨
One thing I realized today is that sometimes ALLAH opens doors for you even before you fully understand the process yourself. 🤍
Before taking these courses, I already had a Top Rated profile on Upwork, Alhamdulillah. But honestly, I always felt like it happened purely through ALLAH’s karam and by chance because I never seriously focused on Upwork before. I didn’t spend much time optimizing my profile, buying connects regularly, or sending proposals consistently.
Back in 2023, I worked with a client on a project worth around $300–$400, and Alhamdulillah the experience went really well. Then at the end of 2025, that same client came back to me because she genuinely liked my work and wanted to work with me again. That one opportunity slowly turned into a long-term client relationship, and along with that I also worked with 2–3 other clients with really positive experiences.
When the Top Rated badge appeared on my profile, it made me realize that maybe I should finally start taking this seriously and professionally. So now, instead of depending only on luck, I’m properly learning how Upwork works, understanding the platform deeply, and trying to build things with intention and consistency. ✨
