Day 10 - Daily journal ( 5 December-25)
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيم
- On Friday, my sister woke me up around 11:30 am.
- She kept my daughter with her and then told me that my very close friend had a major accident on the highway.
- Her car was completely destroyed, and only Allah saved her.
- Hearing this, I was in shock for a while.
- I quickly got ready and went to the hospital with my mom and sister.
- When we reached, we found out that she was in surgery for her head injury, and it would take another 2–4 hours.
- I was worried about Zaira as well, so I came back home, fed her, gave her food, changed her, and put her to sleep.
- Then I went back to the hospital and met my friend — the moment I saw her, I couldn’t stop crying.
- I don’t think I can ever forget this day; it was so emotionally overwhelming.
- When I came home, I didn’t feel like doing anything because I was extremely upset.
- Later my husband came to see me, we ate a little together, and then I took Zaira and went to sleep
