Day 09 - Dated: June 06, 2026
Daily Journal
Slept between 2:00 AM and 3:00 AM and woke up around 12:00 PM.
After waking up, I freshened up, ironed my father's clothes, and had breakfast. I then asked my sister to arrange the room for me. Meanwhile, I made wudu and prayed Zuhr.
After that, I decided to look for an AI tutor for my English-speaking learners. While searching, I ended up finding an app for myself to practice English and improve my speaking skills. I spent some time practicing on it.
Around 3:30 PM, I started my Accounting lecture. However, while taking the lecture, I realized that some concepts were unclear because I had not completed the previous homework. To better understand the new material, I decided to go back and work on the pending homework so that I could bring myself to a point where I was aligned with the lecture.
There was quite a lot of pending work, and between meals, prayers, and other things that needed my attention, I continued working on it until after 1:30 AM. Although I was not able to complete all of the pending homework and class writing, I managed to catch up enough to follow the lecture properly. After that, I resumed the Accounting lecture and completed it around 3:04 or 3:05 AM.
I then got up to pray Tahajjud and Fajr. After finishing my prayers at around 4:30 AM, I ate a few light snacks and sat down to continue studying. However, by then, my mind was exhausted, and I was unable to focus properly on the lecture. I wrapped things up at exactly 5:13 AM.
Unfortunately, I stayed on my phone until around 7:00 AM before finally going to sleep. I then woke up between 12:30 PM and 1:00 PM.
Alhamdulillah, despite the challenges, I spent a significant portion of the day learning and working on my studies. While some Accounting class writings are still pending, I was able to make meaningful progress and bring myself to a stage where I could understand and continue with the lecture. I am grateful for the effort made today and pray for consistency in the days ahead.

Allahumma Barik. O Allah, bless my time, grant me consistency and discipline, and make me steadfast in pursuing beneficial knowledge. Put barakah in my efforts, increase me in beneficial knowledge, and allow me to use my time in ways that are pleasing to You. Ameen.
