🎯 Goal of the day
Today was about understanding real customer struggles so future UGC ads actually speak to people, not just sell to them.

I researched top selling skincare products on Amazon and focused mostly on 2 to 3 star reviews. These showed real issues people faced instead of fake praise.
I pulled out customer pain points, exact quotes, emotions, and how often each issue appeared.
Then I checked Reddit communities like SkincareAddiction to see honest discussions. This helped me understand what people tried, what failed, and how frustrated they felt.
I also studied competitor ads to see what they are ignoring. Most ads only show before and after results and skip the real struggles customers go through.

Common problems included burning, dryness, breakouts, oily skin, patchy makeup, bad smell, white cast, and high pricing.
Emotions were strong. People felt frustrated, embarrassed, hopeless, and even scared their skin would never improve.
Reddit gave deeper insights. Many people feel nothing works for them and they are tired of trying new products.
Using real customer language will make future scripts feel natural and believable instead of scripted and salesy.

Amazon research: Read more than 50 reviews across 3 products and extracted over 30 pain points with quotes and emotions.
Reddit research: Found more than 10 posts showing real struggles, failed attempts, and emotional reactions.
Competitor analysis: Identified pain points most ads completely ignore, which gives us strong angles for future ads.

Now I understand what customers actually feel and struggle with. This gives us real material to write ads that connect emotionally and stand out from generic product focused ads.
