𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘅: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗔𝗜-𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹!

I am constantly testing new tools to upgrade my AI agentic coding workflow. Today, I made a video exploring an amazing open-source tool called Terax.

If you are tired of heavy, slow IDEs, this one is for you. It is a fully AI-native dev workspace that combines your terminal, code editor, AI agents, and web preview into one single lightweight pane.

Here is why it caught my attention:

— 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗮𝘀𝘁 & 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: It is under 10MB on disk with a ~300ms cold start. No heavy Electron tax!

— 𝗔𝗹𝗹-𝗶𝗻-𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲: It features a built-in editor with real Vim mode, visual Git history, and a live auto-detecting web preview (for Next.js, Vite, etc.) right next to your code.

— 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹, 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 & 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆: No telemetry. You can bring your own API keys or run fully local offline models using LM Studio. It even supports voice input so you can literally talk to your agents while you code!
