1st Daily Journal
I didn’t post on my first day because most of the time went into exploring the community and engaging with members.
Today, I woke up at 6:00 AM, offered my prayer, and then went back to sleep since I had slept around 2:30 AM. I woke up again at 10:30 AM when my brother literally pulled me out of bed, saying it was almost evening.
After breakfast, I spent some time with our guest’s kids. At 11:10 AM, a friend messaged me. He had taken a Food Shop WordPress project but got stuck because he didn’t know how to use the theme properly. He handed the project over to me, and I built the basic structure within 2 hours.
At 1:10 PM, I offered Zuhr prayer, spent some time talking with my mom, and restarted work at 1:42 PM. I stayed busy with the project until it was time for Asr prayer.
After Asr, I went to the farm to check our cattle, then headed to the ground to play some cricket (got hit by a hard ball on my left leg 😅). After that, I offered Maghrib prayer and returned home.
I worked on building the header and footer for a food website until my family called me for dinner. After dinner, I played some Ludo with my brothers. Then I got back to work and made the food site responsive. It was a very complex WordPress theme, which is why it took extra time.
Later, I offered Isha prayer, spent some time with my mom, and restarted work after about 20 minutes. At 9:50 PM, I completed the site and sent the preview to the client.
After that, I resumed another project I had been working on for the past two days and completed it by 10:30 PM. Now I’m writing this journal.
After finishing this, I plan to work on my portfolio website, which may take around 3 hours. I’m planning to sleep a bit earlier today, so I’ll work on it until 12:30 AM and then go to sleep.
