Blessed Moonday! Since this is all brand new, I thought I'd begin with a bit of an introduction and back story. Hi, I'm Taylor! Where do I begin but at the beginning?! Even as a tiny little human bean, barely speaking fluent English, I was telling my parents about my "other lifes", my past lives. I'd sneak into the woods and just sit in the middle of a large stand of trees and just BE. Just sit. A little me, practicing oneness. I grew up southern Mississippi on a hearty diet of Fleetwood Mac and Prince , watching movies like the Craft, practical magick, A Fairtytale, and Harry Potter, with a witchy momma (although she never admitted it) who hung an old broom above the door, and often dressed in dark colors, lace and velvet. My oldest sister, though, likely had the most profound positive impact on my individual and creative growth by sharing with me music that still moves me to this day. Not me, as I type this, listening to Tool. If ya know, ya know, ya KNOW!? (We all know Danny Carrey is a freaking Mage, hello 🤫) Oh she also gave me my first spell book at ten years old! Anyway, I had my weird and awesome influences.... Needless to say, I was a bit different (hello undiagnosed autism and ADHD ☝️) and had a lot of special interests regarding things I didn't actually understand yet, but always felt a pull towards since I can remember. I actually just found out this year that my chart is ruled by none other than ZaddyMommy Sophia Zaturn and NEPTUNE. 👀 Also my black moon Lilith is in the fucking 12th house. So.... Put it together and whaddya got? An audhd kid with a Neptune ruled chart, who's found magick, the mystical, and weird. Yeah school sucked. People thought I was fuckin weird, cause, well, I WAS. But in the best way! I remember reading Coraline for the first time in like the fourth grade and being just SENT. I ended up crafting the coolest doll out of a sock and black thread for hair, that was naturally sporting button eyes. She was SO cool. And being the socially maladapted little bean I was, I brought that shit right to school. I still remember the girls in school taking it and making a joke about how it was a voudoun doll. Ha! Yeahhhhh BUDDY! Growing up in the South as a weird little mystical kid? Definitely recommend if you wanna build some character. I was known as the GOTHIC kid. (I wasn't gothic) Got called cyclops too because I went through a phase where I covered halfu face with my hair. Y'all remember that one? I do.
