🤯 Did You Know?
The first neural network was built in 1958.
That's 68 years ago. Before the moon landing. Before the internet. Before color TV.
So why did AI only "explode" in the 2020s?
Three reasons:
1. GPUs got powerful enough to train them
2. Data became massive thanks to the internet
3. Money finally flowed in once it became commercially viable
The takeaway? The technology was always there. The infrastructure wasn't.
Right now you're learning AI while the infrastructure is finally ready. That's not luck — that's timing. Use it. 💪
