Composition focus: Establish tonality.
Pick one note to be home.
This note should feel stable, like the music could stop there and feel complete.
Example: Home note = C
Play or write a short idea that starts and ends on C
Example notes:
C – E – G – E – C
Don’t worry about rhythm yet. Just make home feel obvious.
