Day 12/56 Your First 56 Days Challenge 🇺🇸
We’re officially starting Week 3 of our 56-day challenge, and I just want to say: I’m so proud of you for sticking with it! I hope you had a relaxing week, got some rest, and had a chance to recharge. But now… it’s time to get back to work! 💪 And before we jump into today’s challenge, I want to say thank you to everyone who joined us for our live session this Saturday! We had a great time learning about American traditions and customs, and I loved seeing you guys participating and sharing your experiences. And by the way, if you want to watch all the classes from that module, they’re already open! Just go to Classroom and look for the module called “The American Way of Living.” 🇺🇸 I also want to give a shout out to our new students who will be joining our 56 Days Challenge this week @Carlos Melo Jr @Luciano Paes @Kauã Dutra and @Katia Groth Now, let’s talk about today’s challenge! 🎯 DAY 12/56 Today’s challenge is to talk about the most difficult word to pronounce in English in your opinion. Your Challenge: Record a 60–90 second video. Make sure you start your video with: “Hi, my name is [your name], and I’m giving myself 56 days to speak English more confidently. Today is Day 12, and my challenge is to talk about the most difficult word to pronounce in English.” Then, continue by answering these questions: 1. What is the most difficult word for you to pronounce? 2. Why do you find this word difficult? 3. Can you pronounce it better now, or do you still struggle with it? 4. What part is challenging for you — the sounds, stress, intonation, or syllables? 5. What are you doing to improve your pronunciation? Let’s keep showing up, keep practicing, and keep pushing ourselves outside of our comfort zones. I’ll see you in the comments! Mackenzie

Today's expression - 8/31
BREAK THE ICE Meaning: To start a conversation or make people feel more comfortable. 👉 Em português: quebrar o gelo / iniciar uma conversa ou fazer outros se sentirem mais confortáveis. Como soa natural: "puxar papo / deixar a conversa fluir. Exemplo: 💬 "To make everyone feel more comfortable, I had to break the ice with the person sitting next to me." (Para que todos se sentissem mais confortáveis, eu tive que quebrar o gelo com a pessoa sentada ao meu lado.) ✍️ YOUR TURN / SUA VEZ: I have you ever had a situation where you had to break the ice. Share that moment below.

Day 2/56 - Your First 56 Day Challenge
Day 2 is here! Agora que você já deu o primeiro passo e gravou seu vídeo de apresentação, é hora de começar a falar sobre algo que faz parte da sua vida todos os dias: sua rotina. A ideia de hoje é simples: falar em inglês sobre as pequenas coisas que você faz no seu dia, desde a hora que você acorda até o momento em que vai dormir. Não se preocupe em criar frases perfeitas. O objetivo aqui é começar a transformar o inglês que você conhece em inglês que você realmente usa. Today’s mission: Talk About Your Daily Routine Você pode falar sobre: ☀️ What time you wake up ☕ What you do in the morning 💼 Work or school 🍽️ What you do in the afternoon 🌙 Your evening routine 😴 What you do before going to bed 📅 What you usually do on weekends IMPORTANT: don’t forget to start your video like this 👇🏻 “Hi, I’m [your name]. And I’m giving myself 56 days to speak English more confidently. Today is Day Two, and my challenge is to talk about my daily routine.” Depois disso, siga o Script Guide e conte sobre a sua rotina usando as palavras e expressões do material (se precisar de apoio) Seu vídeo deve ter entre 60 e 90 segundos. E lembre-se: não é sobre falar perfeitamente. É sobre falar. ❤️ Poste seu vídeo aqui nos comentários e aproveite para assistir e comentar em pelo menos dois vídeos de outros membros. Let’s keep going! Day 2/56 — one more day of speaking English. 🇺🇸 I’m so proud of you! Mackenzie
