Weekend Motivation - Keep Going Queens! You will get there!
I reposted this here because I think somebody in this community may need the reminder today: 50+ ain’t for punks — but neither are we. 💛 We have lived through enough to know that a hard season is not the same thing as a final chapter. We’ve had to pivot, rebuild, let go, start over, pray through things we didn’t understand, and keep moving even when we were tired. And somehow, we’re still here. Still learning. Still dreaming. Still becoming. I really believe this season of life is less about trying to become who we used to be and more about finally stepping fully into who all of those experiences prepared us to become. So if you’re in the middle of a setback, transition, or one of those “what now?” seasons, don’t count yourself out. Stand. This too shall pass. And remember — we know our merchandise is good. 😉

WORK LESS. LIVE MORE - But Let’s Be Clear About What That Means.
I’ve been thinking a lot about how we’ve been taught to define “security.” For most of our adult lives, many of us were told the responsible thing was simple: ✅ Get a good job. ✅ Work hard. ✅ Stay loyal. ✅ Save for retirement. And hopefully, after 30 or 40 years, you’ll finally have enough freedom to enjoy your life. But somewhere along the way, I started asking a different question: Why does freedom have to wait until retirement? When I say Work Less. Live More., I am NOT talking about avoiding work. I’m talking about building a life where one employer doesn’t get to control nearly all of your income, your schedule, your flexibility—and potentially your financial future. There is a big difference between having a paycheck and having options. A paycheck can provide income without providing freedom. And especially in midlife, I believe one of the smartest things we can do is begin creating additional ways to earn that aren’t completely dependent on whether a company decides to keep employing us. That might mean learning AI. It might mean developing digital or marketing skills. It might mean consulting, freelancing, coaching, creating digital products, building an online business—or simply experimenting until you discover what works for you. The goal isn’t necessarily to quit your job tomorrow. The goal is to reach the point where your job can eventually become an option instead of your only option. That’s the kind of freedom I want us thinking about inside this community. Not “How can I stop working?” But: How can I build income around the life I actually want to live? And I’m curious about you… If you could change ONE thing about the way you currently earn money—your hours, your location, your income ceiling, your dependence on an employer, or something else—what would it be? Drop it below. 👇🏽 I have a feeling we’re going to discover that a lot of us want the same thing: More control. More options. More life. 💛

Trust God’s Timing While You Build
Did you know the average successful business takes 2-3 years to gain real traction — and most founders say the breakthrough came right after the season they almost quit? Sometimes the hardest part of building something new isn’t the work. It’s the waiting. You show up. You post. You pray over the launch, the funnel, the next move. And the results don’t always come as fast as you’d like. But a quiet season is not a stalled season. While you’re waiting, God is working. While you’re building, He’s positioning things you can’t see yet — the right person about to find your page, the skill you’re sharpening, the timing being set behind the scenes. Most of us are sitting on 25-35 years of hard-won knowledge and experience. That’s not behind you. It’s the asset you’re building on. “Now the glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house.” — Haggai 2:9 What this means is you were created to thrive as you get older. But sometimes it’s a waiting game. I’ve lived the waiting. There were stretches where I couldn’t see the way forward at all. What carried me wasn’t certainty — it was trusting that the process was preparing me for the promise. And it was. So this Thursday: 📅 Start your day with prayer before you open the laptop 💵 Focus on progress, not perfection — one step counts 🔗 Keep moving forward in faith, even when it’s quiet God’s delays are not denials. He knows exactly where you are, exactly what you need, and exactly when the time is right. Don’t lose heart. The breakthrough may be closer than you think. I’m rooting for you! 💛 Kim
