Increasing limits

I went through some funding rounds and a few cards came back with not horrible but low limits. these were with banks that I now have fresh relationship's with.

How should I go about raising, do I want like 6 months or can I immediately call the reconsideration line and paint a picture for them, would this cause another inquiry if its like the same day or within few days?
