- What would you do if you were fearless and could not fail?
- What will you be most proud of a year from now?
- What are three things you must stop doing?
- What advice would you give yourself in your exact situation?
I saw these questions on a YouTube video this morning and I'm hesitant to ask and answer these myself but deep down I know this is probably something I should consider. For the past few years, I've been using my fears as a compass, meaning that instead of avoiding them I move towards them. I know firsthand that I'm happier with my life since I faced a particularly terrifying question of abandoning a sustainable and comfortable career to pursue something much riskier but much more personally rewarding. I wish I moved faster but grateful that I did pursue change when it was uncomfortable. I realized it is more important to have proximity to people who help me challenge and question my limiting beliefs. I found that what I desire could be found on the other side of fear. I'm still working on how to do this in more and more areas of my life.
What if just as an exercise you answered these four questions for yourself? What do you have to lose?
Sending Much Love,
Shawn Randall
