April in LA: from Mastermind to Beach Day 🌊
@Ellie Shoja and @Brennan Thompson are hosting a mastermind on April 12th. And if you want to keep the fun of meeting Skoolers going… We’re having a Skoolers Beach Day on Sunday, April 19th in Manhattan Beach! So basically: 👉 April 12 → mastermind, ideas, building 👉 April 19 → beach, connection, fun On the 19th, we’ll hang out on the beach, meet other Skoolers (and a few Skool Games winners!), play a few games, talk about life and Skool, and enjoy being there together. 📍 Manhattan Beach Pier 🗓️ Sunday, April 19 🕒 From 3pm to sunset (come anytime, stay as long as you want) We’ll end the day with that golden LA sunset 🌅 And yes… optional ocean swim if you’re feeling brave 🐬 If you’re already in LA (or close), you might as well do both 😄

April in LA: from Mastermind to Beach Day 🌊
We need your help...
LA Skoolers! We need your help deciding whether to meet in the morning or the afternoon on April 12. So far, all our meetings have been in the afternoon. However, for the next meeting, we might have an opportunity to meet in person and then attend a live show, which would mean, we'd need to get together in the morning. So... We need your help deciding which works best for everyone. OPTION 1: Keep the IRL at 2PM - 6PM. OPTION 2: Move IRL to 10AM - 2PM, then attend a live music event at 2:30PM. If you don't want to join the live music after, you'll have the rest of your day free. As always, snacks and drinks will be provided. Let us know in the poll, which you prefer.

🚨 EVENT UPDATE: SKOOL IRL: LA – APRIL 12TH 🚨
Quick update for everyone planning to join us next Sunday — please note the new event time: 📅 Sunday, April 12th 🕙 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (UPDATED TIME) 📍 Brentwood (details shared after registration) 🔗 Click HERE to Register Everything else about this experience remains the same… and we’re still bringing the heat. If you’re building on Skool — or even thinking about it — this is your room. Not a panel. Not a seminar. Not another sit-and-listen event. This is where builders get in the same space and actually move things forward. ✨ Real conversations with real operators ✨ Honest insight — what’s working, what’s not ✨ Fresh ideas you can implement immediately ✨ Strategic connections that go beyond “networking” ✨ The kind of energy that sharpens your vision fast And now with the earlier time… we’ve opened up an option to keep the day going 👇 🎶 After the mastermind, we’ll head to the Food Day In WEHO Festival to support Ellie’s friend, Carl, as he performs songs from his new solo album live. His set starts at 2:30 PM. Totally optional — if you’d rather head out after the mastermind, your Sunday is still yours. Spots are limited (and yes — still free). 👉 If you haven’t registered yet, grab your spot now: REGISTER HERE for the mastermind 👉 Be sure to check the Calendar and lock in the updated time: ADD TO YOUR CALENDAR Hosted by your Skool IRL: LA Co-Mayors @Ellie Shoja & @Brennan Thompson P.S. "Concert" Plan with Color Ideas 🎵
So, the fabulous @Ellie Shoja and gracious @Brennan Thompson are letting me commence some improvisational piano art after the IRL meeting in the same location. The plan is for 12:30 pm Pacific (this Sunday). For those in my eXplorers🚀 community, they can check the calendar link to join remotely. For those that might remember we’ll be back at the same house as this video: https://youtu.be/GtjrO4ENwCs 🏡🎥 This week, as I was thinking ahead to Sunday, I recorded a new (hopefully better) version evoking Purple (though not at my piano). I’m thinking of making Sunday’s concert color‑based, pulling from both the colors of the moment and live audience input. 🌈🎵 If you’re near the house, come be part of it in person.
