Feeding Your Worms
One of the biggest beginner mistakes is overfeeding your bin. Start VERY small, and work your way up. Here’s an example in a shoebox bin with a starter colony. I haven’t fed this bin food scraps for over a month and it just shows that their bedding is food also. Start small and increase gradually! You’ll start learning patterns and seeing how fast they finish the food. Don’t feed again until the food is gone. Happy worming!
